TR19 19MM x 9M RECOVERY ROPE KINETIC (BREAKING STRENGTH: 8600KG

R1,995.00

When traction disappears and momentum matters, this 19 mm × 9 m kinetic recovery rope turns stuck into moving. Rated to a serious 8,600 kg breaking strength, it stores and releases energy through controlled stretch, delivering smoother, more effective recoveries for 4x4s, SUVs, light trucks, and off‑road trailers in sand, mud, snow, and rutted tracks.

What’s Included

  • 19 mm × 9 m kinetic recovery rope

  • Protective transport sleeve or bag (where supplied)

  • Integrated abrasion guard at high‑wear contact zone

Key Benefits

  • Balanced power: 19 mm diameter and engineered elasticity for confident, controlled pulls

  • Optimised 9 m length: Provides the slack needed for stretch, energy transfer, and predictable momentum

  • Smoother, safer recoveries: Elastic stretch reduces shock loading to protect vehicles and gear

  • High strength rating: 8,600 kg breaking strength for medium to heavy‑duty extractions

  • All‑weather durability: Premium nylon (or equivalent) resists abrasion and remains flexible across temps

  • Safer than static straps: Lower peak loads and reduced risk of sudden jolts for better control

Specifications

  • Diameter: 19 mm

  • Length: 9 m

  • Design: Kinetic Energy Recovery Rope (KERR)

  • Material: Premium nylon or equivalent high‑performance synthetic fibre with protective sheath

  • Breaking strength: 8,600 kg

  • Colour: High‑visibility, recovery‑ready finish

Compatibility

  • Suitable for 4x4s, SUVs, and overland trailers

  • Use only with rated recovery points, soft shackles, or bow shackles sized for 19 mm rope and proper WLL

  • Do not use with tow balls or non‑rated anchor points; ensure all hardware exceeds expected loads

Use & Setup

  • Inspect gear before each use; retire rope showing cuts, glazing, or excessive abrasion

  • Connect to rated recovery points with compatible soft or bow shackles; avoid sharp edges

  • Lay out rope with light slack to allow stretch; keep bystanders well clear of the recovery path

  • Apply steady throttle to build momentum—avoid harsh jerks; let the rope stretch and do the work

  • After recovery, remove debris, check for wear, and loosely coil for storage

Care & Maintenance

  • Rinse with fresh water after mud, sand, or salt exposure; air‑dry out of direct sunlight

  • Avoid prolonged UV exposure and petroleum‑based chemicals

  • Store dry in a cool, shaded place; do not knot the rope or store under tension

  • Retire rope with melted fibres, deep cuts, flat spots, or excessive stiffness

Safety Notes

  • Never attach to tow balls, unrated hitches, or suspension components

  • Keep people clear of the line of pull and potential recoil zone

  • Use recovery dampers or blankets when appropriate; protect edges with sleeves

  • Match rope rating to vehicle mass; avoid shock loads and do not exceed system limits
